Garlic is a very widespread vegetable throughout Latin America, more than for its culinary use, especially for its use in esotericism (the set of knowledge, doctrines, teachings, practices). Male garlic consists of a single clove, and is considerably smaller and rounder.

This sprout begins to appear after three months of harvesting, depending on the variety and storage conditions. Each clove can give rise to a new garlic plant, since they have a terminal bud at their base that is capable of germinating even without the need for prior planting.
