Ground cinnamon is obtained simply after subjecting the toasted colored sticks to a grinding process, usually industrial. This is much more practical when it comes to integrating it into the kitchen and, as long as it is of quality, it will keep its nutritional values intact, although not so much the power of flavor and aroma. 

It is a very good source of iron, calcium, fiber, vitamin C and B1 and selenium. In addition, the essential oil it contains gives it antioxidant and antimicrobial power, which prevents the development of germs.
