Baby corn is produced from a regular corn plant, but harvested when it is still in the early stages and immature. This results in a miniature corn or baby corn. Depending on the variety it can be yellow, white or pink.

Among its nutritional properties, it is high in folic acid and vitamin B. It is a good source of potassium, riboflavin, and vitamin C. Corn contains carotenoids, which are substances that help prevent heart disease, some types of cancer, and cataracts.
