Chicory lettuce is a leafy vegetable with a bitter taste, also called chicory or radicchio. The name of this plant with beautiful bright blue flowers melliferous, like cornflower or chamomile, means: coming out of the field.

It comes from the Mediterranean region. This drought-resistant perennial plant is distributed in the temperate zone. It grows along riverbanks, along roadsides and near settlements, in vacant lots.
